He wanted black tie, she wanted a picnic...we struck a balance using vintage silver, a crystal chandelier and jewel-toned glassware alongside bouquets of field flowers, rustic wine barrels and a DIY buffet table made from pallets. The wedding, held at her family's vineyard, was the perfect blend of elegance for David and casual for Kristie.  The ceremony took place on the edge of the vineyard with a view that goes on forever, under a birch branch arbor constructed by the bride's father and uncle. The buffet supper was served on mismatched cobalt china and the cutting cake featured silk butterflies in honor of the bride's middle name ~ Mariposa, butterfly in Spanish.  Dancing was followed by a delicious pie buffet provided by a local orchard.  David and Kristie's wedding was not only a joining of their lives but of their very different styles, truly telling their love story, their way.
